SwipeRight ("we", "our", "the app") is a credit card comparison and tracking tool for Indian consumers. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, and what control you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

✔ We do NOT collect, store or transmit any of the following:

  • Your actual credit card numbers, CVV, expiry dates or PINs
  • Bank account details or transaction history
  • Spending amounts you enter in the calculator (stays on device only)
  • Location, contacts, camera, microphone or any device sensor data
  • Advertising identifiers or device fingerprints
  • Browsing history or usage analytics

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Phone number — Solely for authentication. We never call, text or share your number.
  • Wallet and favourites — To provide personalised card recommendations and sync your selections across devices.
  • Bill tracker — To remind you of upcoming credit card payment due dates.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Cloud data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in secure Google data centres with encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication, which follows industry-standard security practices.
  • Local data is stored in Android SharedPreferences on your device.
  • We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal data with any third party for marketing, advertising or any other purpose.

The only third-party service that processes your data is Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore), governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

  • Delete your account — Go to Profile, then tap Delete my data. This permanently deletes your Firestore document and clears all local storage.
  • Sign out — Go to Profile, then tap Sign out to disconnect from cloud sync.
  • Clear app data — Use Android Settings, then Apps, then SwipeRight, then Clear Data to remove all local data.
  • Request deletion via email — Contact us at the email below and we will delete your data within 7 days.

7. Children's Privacy

SwipeRight is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Credit cards in India require the applicant to be at least 18 years of age.

8. App Permissions

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Disclaimer

SwipeRight is an independent comparison tool. It is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or sponsored by any bank or card issuer. Bank names, card names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Card information is compiled from publicly available sources and may not reflect the latest terms — always verify with the issuer before applying.
